Annie Liu, one of our former volunteers, created an interactive map of immigration detention centers in the American South to illustrate their seclusion and the resulting difficulties in ensuring meaningful access to justice for detainees.

A Deep-Dive into 287g

One of our former interns, Taylor Dempsey, compiled a timeline of 287g in Knoxville, Tennessee ranging from 2017-2021 as part of her Honors Thesis. Learn more about local, state, and federal responses to the policy and why immigrant rights activists are opposed to its implementation.
